Born in 1975 in Aydın, Ahmet Sabuncuoğlu graduated from Konya Selçuk University, Department of English Language and Literature. He started his teaching career in Izmir in 1998. In 1999, he graduated from Doncaster College in England.

After completing TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) teacher training and working in various fields in England for 5 years, he taught General and Technical English to university students at the School of Foreign Languages at the University of Karlsruhe in Germany for 2 years. He returned to Turkey in 2005 and worked as an English Instructor in the Preparatory Department for Undergraduate and Postgraduate Programs at Izmir University of Economics for 9 years. In 2013, he started working as the English Education Coordinator at Edukas Overseas Education. Since then, he has been organizing training programs on General English and IELTS.
